Even a complete system with four CODA sensor units, markers accessories, and control hub weighs in at less than 50 kg even within their customised hard transport cases (available as an option). This means that it's easy to make your laboratory portable.
A typical portable laboratory for a research biomechanics application would consist of two CODA sensor units with markers, marker drive boxes, clusters or wands used for preparing the subject, and a laptop computer and CodaHub. Optionally force plates, EMG system and/or other sensor-types may be added. Experience shows that the complete laboratory, including a force plate and walkway as well as the Codamotion system components can be unloaded, assembled and ready to go in less than half an hour in a new location.
Our ODIN software suite is provided with most systems, allowing sophisticated biomechanical modelling and analysis. However, those users who are interested in integrating 3D motion data into their own real time applications may prefer our Software Development Kit (SDK) in order to develop their own control systems.
We offer hard cases for protecting the CODA units and the CodaHub in transport, and combined charging cases/carrying cases for clusters, marker drive boxes etc.
